1. Pricing and quotes
We diagnose over the phone and give you a clear price for the likely job, based on the information you provide. There's no call-out fee. The engineer confirms the price before we lift a cover and before any work begins. Where the work turns out to be bigger than expected (for example, a camera survey reveals a collapsed section that needs excavation or relining), the engineer will quote any additional cost before continuing and will not proceed without your authorisation. A return visit, where needed, is quoted before it's booked.
2. Guarantee
We guarantee the work we carry out for 12 months from the date of the job. Manufacturer warranties on any materials supplied (for example, liners or replacement pipe) are passed through. The guarantee covers faults in the work we performed, not new blockages from misuse (such as flushing wipes or pouring fat down the drain), damage caused by third parties, or unrelated faults elsewhere on the drainage system.
3. Insurance
We hold £2,000,000 public liability insurance and full motor and tools cover. Certificates available on request.
4. Identification
Every engineer is DBS-checked, uniformed and carries photo ID. For work on shared or boundary drains, we may ask about ownership and responsibility before starting, so the right party is the one paying for the right pipe. This is for your protection as well as ours.
5. Cancellations
Pre-booked appointments can be cancelled up to 1 hour before the slot at no charge. Emergency call-outs cancelled after the engineer has been dispatched may incur a charge for the journey.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
